Oh man. Oh well, I can try Saturday and see if there are any parts left.
anyone going junking soon? I need an antenna for my TJ. mine ripped off at some point and tore the base in half. so I'd need the whole antenna/base/wire. shouldn't be hard to find as long as you can find a TJ sitting around.

Two Dana 60s from 96 dodge V10 pick ups at pull n pay on Broadway, unfortunately they are ball joint and cupping type butll still!
Also an 85 4runner. Been picked of the good stuff but still a lot there
I've had this little growl going on in the LF for a little while now. Ran to the pull and save today to grab a hub/bearing, and ended up with my best day of parts finds so far. Didn't take long to find a hub/bearing that looked like it hadn't been on the truck all that long. $15. Came across one with really new looking Bilsteins on the front, and slightly older looking ones on the back, didn't have the right tools to get em off, but coulda had a fairly new set for $10. I did end up finding a set with mounts on one end that I think will work for fab'n up some front sway bar disco's, and for $10 for the pair, I'll give em a tryout. I knew it would happen someday, and today was finally the day.......... Found a bug shield with zero cracks. Not a color I want, but that's what paint is for. took a peek in another EX in that row, and found it to have an almost brand new weatherstrip around the passenger door. open all the other doors and they were all new. Only one I didn't take is the one for the back hatch glass, it had a cut in it. got the other 5 though for total of $28. The drivers' side seat belt latch quit working some time ago, and I grab a newer set up out of a 97 or 98 I think, bolted right in and the newer style looks much better, so I grabbed on for the passenger side today as well, $19, I can get the whole thing at another yard up North for $6, but I hate to drive an hour for a seatbelt, so pulled the trigger and the fronts will finally be matching soon. Found a factory hitch/bumper combo on a 2002 that got me to thinking........took some measurements and I think this thing will fit. I only took the steel inner piece with the hitch and plates to mount it, along with the 7-pole round electrical/lighting socket, going to use it as a foundation to build on $25. Came across one with a conical spectre oiled air filter. Not the best brand out there, but for $3, It'll work for now. Final find of the day was a used set of these:

They need to be wetsanded and polished up again, but at $52, I'm not complaining about a little sanding. Only found 1 set of F-150 leafs and they were rustier than I wanted to mess with. All in all what I call a victory at the yard today. And now I have lots of work ahead of me. Still looking for that elusive set of springs and t-case.
Chad were you at pull n pay in denver around 11?
Yes I was. Leila was with me along with another buddy of mine. Were you there too?
Thats quite the score of parts Ive learned that packing a lite tool bag for walking the JY and keeping the full arsenal to tools in the truck is a must just incase I come across that "unicorn" part.
Haha small world. Yup we went for about 40 lug nuts to replace some on our shop cars, s10 pick up and blazer.
Front end parts from 90's Dokota found a front bumper only, then I stumbled on a 1998 YJ.......(labeled wrong) was more like an 87 to 89. Found my tie rod and ends and the shaft from the steering wheel to box.
Oh and found the only side mirror from a s10 in the yard that was still intact.
Was a good day, all together my group save around 1000 bucks.
I have no clue what i saved. Spent more than i intended, but definitely found a couple gems. Biggest had to be the new door seals all the way around on one of the explorers. The hatch glass seal had a tear so i left it, but i got almost brand new seals for all 5 doors. Thats why i love the JY. Never k ow what you might find!!
Going back today to snag the tail pipe ! And to take some time and look things around.
