New to Off Roading

I've been checking out the forum and getting some great info. I've never been off roading, but have always wanted to do it. I recently purchased a 2004 Tahoe Z71 and look forward to seeing how it does on a trail. Thanks for all the info and great pictures on the forum!

It should do fine. It's big and wide, but I wheel with a guy with an H1.

Welcome hope to see ya one the trails soon! I am a Chevy man at heart that is why I have the Isuzu with a GM motor...granted it is the smallest V-6 GM ever made but oh well it gets the job done

Thanks for all the welcomes. So, I was thinking of heading to the anniversary run on March 9th at China Wall, but I hope to get out sooner than that for my first run. Would you recommend an easier trail for the first run? I've looked at the trail ratings, and its a level 3 on the low end.

Suggestions and advice are greatly appreciated.

China wall is a great place to start...
With a bunch of FR peeps there I donr see a problem...

You'll do fine on China Wall. There are optional bypasses along the way. A very easy trail if you do it that way (which is what I have done)! It's a great outing with a great group of people. You'll have fun!
