Default rough country vs tough country lift

hey guys I have some questions about lifts for my 95 v6 4runner. I am looking at buying either the rough country or the tough country lift and from what I can see the only difference between them is the tough country comes with limiting straps. Also when I go to lift my runner is there anything I should be aware of?

both are good. I'd probably go TC if they have bonus straps. most lifts you buy have components made by Rough Country, aka Heckthorn, Gabriel, Ryder, Superlift, Rusty's, ProComp... all the same.

Don't know much about either brand, or Toyotas, but, try and find those parts that wear out. I have Jeep parts with worn out bushings. Replacements are either non-existant, or cost prohibitive.

If you can't replace those worn out parts, you'll be buying another lift, way too soon.

Me and Matt have been looking at this stuff a lot so here are the kits

    Rough ($799.95) - http://www.roughcountry.com/suspensi...r_90-95_5.html
    Tuff ($1200.00 +) - http://www.tuffcountry.com/suspensio...lift-kits.html

If the straps really are the only difference are the worth the price difference? Couldn't you buy the straps on their own a lot cheaper then $400

here is a link to a yota forum about it.

Main thing here we were talking about is the OME kit with nothing but springs (plus coil spacers for the 3") and ball joint spacers up front. My question is why is are the other kits so complicated well the OME is very simple, is it the difference between a 3" to a 4" lift?

I'm a fan of OME, have them now and on my old truck.

x2 for OME. I know that's not what you were asking for but they make an awesome product.
