Johnny-Pierson Park Nov 4, 2012 Trail Run Report

Very nice day. I enjoyed meeting our new members. I ended up leading the route which was a first for me. Since I've run it several times this summer I took the hardest line I could find. Also a first for me. I think I had them a bit concerned heading up the Pierson Park hill when I three wheeled it pretty good but intentionally due to the harder line. I guess the route was a bit more difficult than Chris expected. It may have taken him awhile to figure out I wasn't taking the easy line. Bit a snow heading down into Pierson Park from the South. It appeared as if we were the first full size vehicles to travel there since that snow last weekend.

Yep! Those trails were easier going downhill in my opinion. But both ways are fun. Great pictures!!! Looks like they might be becoming more difficult trails than they were in the years past. You got some really great shots and I'm glad you had a great day! I gotta get back out there. Not sure I want to do them with snow adding to the mix...!

Great day with great folks! Thanks for posting pics...i had forgotten my camera or else I would have added to the collection.

That was certainly a bit more trail than I was expecting, but I'm glad that I did it...especially since Tom wasn't taking it easy on me!

It was good to be following a stock Wrangler on this trip. It gave me the confidence that my stock truck could do it too.

Other than a slightly gouged wheel, i don't think I did any damage, so that's good.

Had a great time! Can't wait for the next one.
