Default Webster Pass / Radical Hill Advice

I have a friend from IA that I am taking camping this weekend. I would like to take him off-roading to show him the REAL Colorado. I have run Webster Pass before, but have never run Radical Hill.

My Commander is fairly stock (2" spacer lift and skid plates only.) Does anyone have any advice on whether I would have complications? I was recommended not to run it a few years ago in my 2008 Ram 1500 due to the width of the truck.

Any information would be appreciated. Maybe I'll even set-up an official "run" if I am able to join!!!

I don't think I'd mess with Radical Hill if I was you. Do Webster and go on to Montezuma Rd., up Deer Creek and go to the top of Radical the back way. Great views from the top and usually goats hanging around.
Check out out trip report for Webster .

This is good advice; also my friend and I did this sameroute, plus middle fork for a camping trip and my stock LR3 and his extera. Butdefinitely avoid radical hill!

Red Cone you can do in a stock vehicle. It's gotten rougher going up but still doable if careful. That last hill on Radical is a biotch.

I haven't seen a lot of good photos of the rough section on Radical Hill... Is it just large rocks I would have problems with due to my entrance/exit angles?

Steep and loose with big rocks. You need good clearance, good tires and a locker is very helpful.
I don't have any recent photos of it. Maybe I can find an older picture.

I did it in the FJ40 with no lockers, but it was dicey and scary, and I think I made it on sheer luck (and skinny pedal). It was oh so much easier in the FJC.
