Default Barbour Fork Sunday July 8th

I have to work Sunday morning but should be able to wrap it up by 9:00, am thinking of going straight to Barbour Fork afterward, so about 10:00. If anyone wants to go we could maybe meet at the Idaho Springs Ranger Station, or just at the trailhead? I've never run this trail but it looks great! Since it's one of FR4x4's adopted trails I'm going to do my part and bring some spent bullets, broken bottles and a few old appliances in anticipation of the fall cleanup run. HTH!!

I think Chris peed himself a bit when that happened...

Moral of the story though... don't get sliders that stick out 6" from the truck... they'll keep you from taking the better line sometimes!

    That was a fun day!

just found this report/video, both are pretty cool. the video really shows the trail and YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE AUDIO, the guy is scared to death and it's hysterical. He does a nice job, it's just out of his zone. I'm looking forward to running it, I've missed the last 2 runs there.

After watching that video I'm scared!!
Looks like a good stocker run.
I think we are in. Is everyone meeting at the ranger station?
What time? Is it still 10:00.

I would be there but still have a damaged rotoflex, picking up a conversion kit from a guy on EXPO. Should be all fixed by next weekend. Have fun in the mud! Take pics!

too bad you can't make it! next time. I'm keeping the doors on for this one, but it doesn't look like we'll get any real rain unti lthe afternoon, if the news is correct. Should be fun, and I'll take a little mud over trail dust any day!
