FWIW, all of us from last year's cleanup run were able to donate $35 this time. I turned in brass we (all of us collectively) collected from the clean up run last year at Barbour Forks/Devils Canyon. My friend Coco turns in brass for $$, as a hobby. She at any given time has over 100 lbs of the stuff - apparently you get more $ when you have a higher aggregate weight to turn in. So, she logged the weight of what we collected and added it to her stash, and then laid in the weeds and waited for the price to go up. Fairly recently, it went over $2/lb (at the time of the cleanup run, I think it was 1.35 or 1.50/lb or something like that) so she turned it in. So, if anyone's interested in donating this way on the next cleanup run, I'm happy to do it again, through Coco with the poundage.
