What was it Keith said again?
No love for you pal.
What was it Keith said again?
No love for you pal.
No love for me from any of you!
I'm disturbed, shocked, down-hearted...
...and a bit sunburned!
Being Winter the last couple days have been cool & rainy, my sympathies to the folks only here for a few days. It's passing but looks to be here a couple more days. It's not always sunny in paradise.
It's 10am and the sun's out so looks like there's no need to wait for tomorrow!
Can you please go out and step on a stingray or something??? Damn mon, you suck!
Thanks for keeping me honest Jon!
Well, keep enjoying yourselves, frigid weather or not!
And don't mind all the threats. They can be dealt with one at a time when you guys get back. It ain't like we are all going to be waiting at your doorstep at the same time.....
I still haven't seen a fishing rod in his hand yet. Having access to a boat and a guide, I am thinking of banning him for not taking advantage of the circumstances!
Fishing isn't high on my list guys! I lived in MN 25 years and resisted the 10,000 lakes w/o much trouble. Went enough to teach my kids the basics and they, like me, preferred my old Thunderbird runabout.
The turning point may be grocery store prices, I may have to fish to feed myself.
Costco is in our future Jon, Spam is not! I knew too many people that worked for Hormel in MN.
Safeway in Aurora has a better fish selection than here, very odd. Of course they import sugar, mangoes & pineapples too so why not ship fish 3,000 miles too
You ought to at least try it, you might actually like it! And of course they import it. Hit up the fisherman's pier for fresh, they're usually cheaper and have a pretty wide selection.
You haven't mentioned how you like the Lansdale books...I figured you are getting plenty of down time...
I did reference Hap & Leonard Pete and Lansdale is okay, not great. I like greater character and overall development than he writes but it's easy and entertaining reading. I switched to King who does provide lots of back-story, probably too much in many people's opinion though. Down time? Not too much, usually just the end of the day since we don't have TV which isn't a bad thing at all.
No TV was one of my favorite things about living there.
