I thought his band was going to turn on him... they were starting to look pretty pissed. I'd like to see that video if you have it online somewhere..

Sometimes one of my coworkers will ask how my day is going. Most of the time I respond with "It's a BEAUTIFUL day!" Sometimes I add, "somewhere..."

The song is worth quoting in it's entirety. A great message and had my toe tapping too!

And speaking of good lyrics: Everyone sings about young love, but how many sing of old love?

The mandolin player with Steve is Kenneth "Jethro" Burns of Homer and Jethro fame.

Brantley Gilbert has been one of my favorites lately too. From what I've heard, Aldean has bought a few songs from him. Dirt Road Anthem and My Kinda Party are the two most popular.

    Real good BG tune

FFDP is also a great band. Nothing gets you pumped up like a good FFDP song. Makes you feel like you can take on the world.

    Back with more later!

I liked Kick it in the Sticks so much, I went and bought the Halfway to Heaven CD this morning (haven't bought a CD in a long time). I had no idea he wrote Dirt Road Anthem until last night, which is another one I like.

Two more of his I like now:

Yeah, I bought it awhile back and it hasn't left my CD player in my truck since!
