Favorite today...I'm really into HBG as they're one of the bands who've taken over where Waylon, Coe, Cash, etc... left off. Sunday Valley is just a killer band, great music, great guitar, and just solid all around.

This is a great song and the lyrics are IMO very powerful. A good song sounds good. A great song sounds good and has meaningful lyrics.

"It's funny how it's the little things in life
    That mean the most
Not where you live or what you drive
Or the price tag on your clothes
There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind
    This I've come to know"

    "Salute the ones who died
The ones that give their lives
So we don't have to sacrifice
    All the things we love"

These probably reflect my state of mind in the morning. Dazed and Confused by Zep, Head Like a Hole by NIN, Save yourself by Stabbing Westward:

Sorry about the sensitive, calming, zen like music selection, but you guys know me and my sensitivities....

No, actually I am not sorry

I have never heard of these guys. Have them been around long? They have a unique sound IMO, kind of like a country rock thing going on.

NIN has some great music. I was fortunate enough to see them live in 2000. Killer show!

He's pretty new. I think he has 3 songs out on the radio. He definitely rocks though.

Yep, never heard of them either, but I like it!

    Some of my favorites:

Like the Lynyrd Skynyrd version, but Shinedown does a better job IMO:

Corb was just here a month ago, I was gone at the time. He played Grizzly Rose... He did 3 shows last summer too, 1 down south, 1 in Springs, 1 in Denver... I was working in ND then.

    Favorite on my run today:
Clutch's Spacegrass ("Jesus on the Dashboard"). I just heard this morning they're playing in Boulder in April...

(ETA: My favorite Clutch is 10001110101)

I did actually! That singer from Black Lamb was soooooo hammered, I got a pretty sweet video of him dancing.
