Check the Toyota Make and Model links in our TECH section. I posted some very good front end rebuild stuff there, a lot of the links are stuff posted or appeared on Mud...

Post #2 has a mess of how to rebuild links, Post #36 has more information."

Ive been looking at all the info and such. The main reason i am doing a write up is because i like pictures. And every right i have seen so far has seriously been lacking pictures.

Ive got this and the reassembly video Favorited on my account. I was worried about it because i had never really torn a yota axle down before. Then i saw this video and started laughing at myself for being worried.

That vid if for an 80 so some steps don't apply. Make sure to download the FSM's and follow torque specs, etc.

Check your engine for vacuum leaks. More than likely your intake/exhaust manifold will have a big one towards the firewall. I plan on replacing my exhaust manifold with headers come tax time.

I'm not sure about your emmission laws. But where I'm at in jeffco it doesn't matter if you have a header or an exhaust manifold. It doesn't affect what comes out. You can even get by with eliminting some of the egr nonsense as long as you still have the valve itself.

And many are equipped with O2 bungs (if applicable), many of them come with CARB exempt stickers stating that they make little or no difference in emissions output. So, as long as it passes, it passes! Emissions places don't usually care, hell most don't even look or know what to look for.
