    Default winter trails



    I should have my rig back up shortly but I have missed the summer and I was just wondering if there were any trails or other runs in the winnter?

    Yeah, we do winter runs. Up until November there are still a lot of lower elevation trails open with snow, where almost all of the high trails are closed. For instance MSV/Coney Flats close sometime around the second week of November and there is a lot of snow on them by then.

    Once winter really starts to set in, you get fewer trails that are actually open. Slaughterhouse, Old Chinaman's, Ironclads, Bunce School to the Meadows, Left Hand Canyon, Miller Rock (sometimes) most of the 'Gulches', Illinois Gulch, stuff off south Rampart are a few and we have people that run these, so keep your eyes open.
