Default Partly to mostly crappy with chance of sheet storm

What a fuggin past few days.
Found out a dear friend committed suicide, a few hours later my little brother sends me a drunken FB message disowning me and telling me how much he hates me. Later that day, I find out my aunt is in the hospital with an inoperable condition, they have gone the "manage the pain" route. Last but not least, 6 years ago today, my best friend(read brother) od'd. What a crap week... Thank goodness for rum.

Sorry to hear that Robbie, sometimes things just suck big-time and seem to snowball. Sounds kind of like my last 6 months or so - death, disease, alcoholism, family issues. Unfortunately about all we can do is offer encouragement that you hang tough knowing things will get better.

Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

Only good news is that there are 51 more weeks in the year to have as good weeks. Sorry to hear this one particularly sucks. It will be a new week before you know it. Keep your head up!

Very sincerely sorry for the suck.

Take care of yourself. Can you get yourself out on a run with the group? Seems like that would be some good therapy.

I normally keep my head up for the "good" weeks, but sometimes It is important to "revel" in the sh!t. It helps up appreciate the good. I am flooded with good times in my life. I have great friends, and amazing wife and a stellar daughter. This week has hit hard, but I'll drink my ass off tonight, have a hangover in the morning, and be thankful that I am alive to feel all of the highs and lows the next day. Like I told a friend I hadnt talked to in a while today when he asked how I was doing. " I am experiencing an anomaly in my day to day existence"

but it's a great temporary fix. anyone who says drinking cant quell your sorrows obviously didnt have enough to drink. See, you get to this "emotional point", that's when you know to pick up the pace. lol...

A particularly bad anomaly. Good thing anomalies are just that, and not the norm. Keep the faith, brother, you already know it's going to be better next week.
