    Default Fins and Things

Fins and Things is a blast, with a lot of steep climbs and drops. Took me a little over three hours running it by myself and didn't see another vehicle the entire time I was out there. Trail has something fun for everybody, and bypasses on the difficult stuff if you don't want to try it. Longer wheelbase vehicles will be dragging bumpers and scraping quite a bit on most of the steep climbs and descents. Fun trip!

First pic was the most intimidating climb of the day, but didn't have any problems with it. Having a blast, sitting here at the campground uploading pics now. Didn't get a lot, as it's hard to drive and take pics.

So much fun! (Me and our daughter went down those hills on our butts and made my husband drive)! I remember that first spot...... here are your choices... \ ...or \ ... or \. Yikes!

Slickrock definitely freaked me out the first time I went down it, then I realized it grips amazingly. Thanks for the pics! Makes me want to go back!

Nice pics! My wife wants to go to Moab, that's why she bought me new tires... I guess I should take her some time.

I'm drooling. Never jeeped in the Moab area. Been there lots of times hiking, rafting, and doing photography. Wish I could make this years runs.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but we're leaving the Jeep home and taking the forester to Moab... it's a lot of prep to bring the Jeep for just one or two trails, and since I've picked dates that don't work with the rest of the group we've decided to hike the Chesler Park loop that day instead. www.nps.gov/cany/planyourvisit/needleslonghikes.htm We started it in Sept from Devil's Kitchen / Elephant Hill but ran out of time and have both wanted to get back there. We were already planning on the Islands In The Sky district- False Kiva, Aztec Buttes and some other stops, so it's going to just be a hiking trip this time.

This pic is overlooking chesler park from the pinnacle area in Sept. If you look infront of me, down and to the right that is the road to Beef Basin
