    Default Six shooter shifter

Just picked up a stainless .44 mag cylinder from a Ruger Redhawk. I plan on adding it to the top of the spare shifter I picked up.

I don't plan on having it spin, but I would like to be able to push it down to extract the rounds.

I'll also be bending and possibly shortening the shifter to my liking.

That is pretty damn cool and going to be even cooler when it is mounted up! Nice place to hold 6 spare rounds...not quite as good as a speed loader, but....

    Thanks Pete.

I'm going to recruit you to help out with the shaft bending and figuring out how to mount the cylinder.

It's just my nature to customize everything. If I had the requisite skills my interior would be all wood, leather and steel.

Got the cylinder. Just needs to be drilled and tapped and I'll be ready to rock.

Dude that's awesome. I may have to do something like that for my t-case shifter. Mind me asking how much the cylinder cost you?

Guy I work with took the cylinder to his dads shop this weekend. Got it partially tapped. The high carbon taps don't last long. It really requires a harder tool steel tap.

But it's on now. Can always tap it more later.

Nothing compares to seeing it in person. Like part of a Dirty Harry movie.
