    Default T-33A report, 8-14-2011

Another excellent day: Good folks, fun trail, cool weather, no major damage (a couple of scrapes and bangs only), everyone got off the trail under his or her own power.

First, some humorous things I learned today.

Paul and Jackie are tree huggers.

And, finally, Paul thinks the Jedi mind trick will work on Jeff's rig: "No, this is not the line you want to take."

By the way, someone's done some serious rock stacking on the trail. Thought about unstacking, but it would have taken half the day. Also (and I hope someone got photos), I conquered the right side of the longish obstacle that you usually weave through. Last time, I got halfway up it and then couldn't turn enough to get past a tree. Went at it straighter this time and just made it.

    More pics.

GREAT pics Rob!! Love the mind trick one! I had such a good time today, thanks to all of you for coming. Rob took all the hardest lines and put on quite a show doing it. I learned that I really need 33s, and that my skid plates were well worth it. Fun trail, and it was harder than I expected it to be.

    Awesome pictures! Thanks so much!

I can't believe you got a picture of the Jedi mind trick! All I saw were people scattering to avoid my rolling Jeep!

ETA: Thanks for my new avatar.

That was a great report with some humor! Great pictures! Good to see that not everyone thinks wheeling should be 'oh so serious'....

All right, Paul! You got the pic! (And one of me falling off a rock? I do that a lot.)

A few more pics. And the rest are here: http://s457.photobucket.com/albums/q...A%208-14-2011/

Great time today everyone! It was great to meet the new folks and of course, great to see you again Rob! I got some pics of you going up that tough one, but for some reason, my camera is not allowing me to download. I'll figure it out sooner or later - this has never happened before.

I think I may pick a new avatar out of these too! (Gotta show off that new bumber and winch. ) My rear bumper took a bite off a rock today - so now I gotta get a new one of those too (Hehehe)!

Britton hasn't seen the new pinstripes yet - so I'm still alive at the moment!!!

Sorry I was out with another group. If not for that, I would have been there. By the way I heard of people doing Moody Hill and Crystal Mountain.
