Scotty. 150 bucks. Sounds good. I an get 5.13 gears from a place shipped to door for 675. Includes new carrier needed to bump up in gears. Less than a grand I'm down. How do I get ahold of Scotty? Who is Scotty?

So Northridge in Washington will ship
Yukon gears to my door for 675.00.
Includes the carrier I need to go to
    5.13 from the 3.21 I have now.
Sounds like a good deal. Especially if
I can get a guy to do it for 150.00.
    Thanks everyone for the info.
I'll keep you posted. Hope to buy gears and do swap
at end of July!! Thanks again all.
    Hope your good Scotty.

Not sure about Scotty but in Aurora Josh is doing installs very reasonable. He is supposed to be good. He's installing a locker for me tomorrow. Might want to give him a call

    Otis dog thanks
    for thanks for the
    recommendation Josh is
doing the whole thing for 750.00
    Yukon gears, installed.
I thought it would cost me
twice as much. Hope it goes smooth.
    Thanks again.

You guys will have to write a follow up after Josh does your gears.

Scotty = Addicted Offroad. That is what he charges for a Toyota drop out 3rd member. Not sure if he'll do a Dana or what he charges so you would have to give him a call. Most of his projects are Toyota's, but I don't think he would say no to another brand.

That Josh dude (not me) did Hotchef's stuff and built the axles and such. They seem to be holding up, though Loren did bust a shock mount off his axle today and it was welded by Josh. Not a huge deal, but still.

Josh installed an Eaton E-locker this morning in my D44. I sat there and chatted with him and watched him and I can tell you he knows what he's doing. I'm very pleased with the install and will definitely go back to him for any kind of work he will do.

Any update on this? A less expensive option in this area for a JK regear would be extremely popular.

I know a guy in Firestone. Sign up on COjeeps and contact Rich at Flat Green Fabrications. Tell him I sent you.

Rich does this type of work on the side. For his day job, he is an ASE certified mechanic, who works on equipment for Uncle Sam:

If I had to chose between Rich and Josh (SFF fab), I'd trust Rich to manage the details and get it right the first time.

Then again, I'm a picky old fart, either will do a good job.
