From the looks of it you had Cuervo do the work for you. Good choice, he seems to do decent work.
Looks good man.
Got to love them knuckles.
Nice find on the Ford high pinion kingpin axle.
They are getting hard to come by to say the least.
The jeep is at The Flop shop, but he has mot touched it yet. The axle work so far is me, with the exception of th sick truss on the 14 bolt. Thats one of his new guys under his supervision. I cant wait for Jon to molest the zj though
updated:
decided on going full hydro steer for clearance up front, still not sure on tires, 40 to 42s either trail grapplers or treps.
front end is all plated and solid. I did get rid of the front bumper. I am getting a custom bumper built for tire clearance purposes. the front end will get a visual makeover as well as I have some test parts coming to be tried out on the zj for the first time. much stoked.
and since I have moved away from the Denver area, I am planning on plating the jeep and making it somewhat streetable. just somewhat.
moved to where....
Streetable....not with full hydro. You are required to have a mechanical conection for the steering.
DOT requirement!
Colorado law does not mention steering components actually. It used to not be legal.
Also, difference between streetable, and street legal.
You need to look past Colorado law.
Department of transportation is the governing body for anything more than a county road.
As 90% of the roads we travel on are a highway....if it has sign with nubers and state or federal highway, DOT makes/writes the laws governing that road.
Streetable I get.
Heres some of the front end plating in the works
Nevermind. Pictures wont upload.
