I have one other seat in the 40 you're welcome to. I have to warn you, though, you have to watch out for the end of the hi-lift jack. I think I can find a way to pad it before Saturday.

We could make room in the back seat of the jeep too, but sounds like rob has you covered, just watch out for the jack...

Have an alternative trail picked out like Ironclads/Bunce. There is no set in stone time when they close the trail, only that it is close to November 1st. Be prepared for snow. I have run this trail at this time many years and have found up to 16" of untracked over packed snow, making this a trail suitable only for very set up rigs. We tried to run this trail last year about this time and, after bashing through an initial snow drift, found the gate to be locked at the main trailhead. We ended up doing Bunce/Ironclads and had a great time.

Even if you call the FS, they don't always know if the guy that closes the trails has closed it yet. I am just saying to keep your options open so that you won't end up disappointed....

Nederland weather is what you are most likely to find, especially since Camp Dick, et al is higher.

I'll probably order them today. No idea when they will come in or if they are in stock. Certainly not going to have them for this Saturday's run and I am going to be welding junk onto Chris' new ride then anyway.

Tires just ordered and I will get them on mid week next week, so I'll be posting up another run for the coming weekend to get them broken in. The sidewalls are so stiff on those that they don't start to flex until under 12psi and that's when they ARE broken in. I would get a fired up and excited about another set of big tires tires on my heap, but these simply replace the worn ones I have on there now. Besides which, after about 40 or more sets of different brand BIG tires over the years on different rigs, it's kinda hard to get all excited about these...

We'll have to see about the weather. We get almost to 10,000 feet on Coney Flats so it might be white up there...

Weather.com says... Hight of 55 with a 30% chance of rain.

Yeah, you have Bunce/Ironclads, though if they close MSV/Coney, Bunce will be closed at the Meadows, preventing access to T33A and surrounds. Pierson Park, Pole Hill and Johnny Park would also make alternative routes as well as Left Hand Canyon.

I would be game for any trail that is not in deep snow, I am not locked and would not want to waist everyone's time with tow straps.

    Hey Keith,

I'm the only one with lockers who has said yes so far. I don't think we'll go too far if it is snowy.

I think anything more than a light dusting may deter me too... no lcokers either. Maybe the weather gods will be kind to us once again?
