    Default grizzly lake

Finallyb made it home. It was one of the best and most challenging trails I did in a long time. There was 5 of us who went. Funrover,Jamie, jim, brian pleasant and my self. The gatekeeper gave me a run for my money, thanks to everbody there for staking rocks. Funrover made it look easy. Jaime got high centered on it and came close to flopping over. after we all made it at the first turn funrover got lodged on a big boulder after several tries made it up. On the really rocky up hill was really loose rocks. jim fuel popped off and after a short break and a new clamp got back togeter. That up hill section was no room for error cuase of the steep drop off . after getting hung up on rocks we all finallh made to the top of the hill to find out jims track bar broke. After using a strap to keep it togherr he decided it would be best to turn around and go back down before more stuff broke. The rest of us headed toward the lake. The trail is not made for fullsizers and I was rubbing every tree and branch it seemed like. It was a very bouncy ride in the burb over all the rocks. After a short break at the lake we head back down and towards the bottom we ran into jim and his battery was dead . So jaime towed him down the rest of the way of the trail. Hope he made it home safely. This trail was a lot worse than I posted funrover told us the difference from what it used to be and what it is now it got really bad according to him. It was a fun and challenging day for the burb and got a lot of war wounds like a messed up drive shaft again , crushed rocker panels, rain gutter molding ripped off. A shiny belly from all the scrapes. Well worth the trip. Hardest run a did in very long time.

Thanks for the trail run pictures and report!

The only hard part that I remember was the entry obstacle and although a little bit of a challenge, that was it as far as the difficulties went. But, of course, that was in my heap, which isn't a fair comparison...one of the main reasons I don't participate in any of the trail run information features on the forum.

it was a beautiful day, sylma, james (my son), courtney (daughter in law) and lexus ( my grandaughter) and myself all of us fitted in yellow jeep! what ia long ride! thanks to roland for letting courtney and lexus riding in his suburban with his two kids. gate keeper was a real challenge for us also on the way up on the edge of the cliff . it was worth the ride to see grizzly lake, awesome! aaron did great job with spotting and putting rocks where we can climb easier without any damages. aaron and i talked about the experience that i had with coney flats and grizzly lake , it was almost similar but tougher on grizzly lake so i can get more training!
