For my rear brake lines I ended up copying a technique I saw on Ty's J10, put a hardware store spring on it to pull it the direction I wanted without needing to clamp it down or change routing.

Looks like a great day on the trail.
You sound like a man that could benefit from some time in nature. Nice to meet you Shane, I'm Shane. Just built up my dream rig and getting ready to take it to Ouray next week so I have to say I'm...
I think the name is obvious foreshadowing that the plan is to add red accents and web-shooters. Can't wait to see it all come together.
Small update, I took James advice and removed the rear cover. I might try to do something with it someday but for now I wasn't feeling it. I also got my onboard compressor working well. It had...
Also, I have a flaring tool that can do bubble flares if yours does not.
Does your tool do a bubble flare or a double flare Jim? I think you can use an incomplete bubble flare (not stretched all the way) or just the first step of a double flare to get a sort of hose...
I might, want to see if it proves useful first. Was thinking of maybe keeping my tow rope and a couple of shackles back there.
If the timing is right I'd be up for this.
Mounted my spare tire today. I still don't have my 5th Tibus wheel from GFG but got tired of having a spare tire only in the back taking up space so I had a tire shop mount the 5th tire on an old...
I wish I could go on this but I need to stick to my plans for wrenching Saturday and not let myself be tempted away by the trails like I always do. Take a few pics for me.
Ok by me, I also signed the release.
I didn’t end up setting the preload. I wasn’t able to get the correct shims until yesterday so now I have to pull it apart again to do it.
Wait, what replaced plasti-gage? I thought it was still the state of the art, now I just feel old.
I got a few https://imgur.com/a/sWCPI5Z
It all gets dirty, but at least you'll have clean pictures to look back on fondly.
Damn those look good.
Helping Ty with his leaf springs was my penance for suggesting I could help Jim change his leaf springs with a spring compressor :D
We didn't have access to a vice and needed to bend these u-bolts, I thought we are about to call it a day since we're stuck so why not take a quick walk around our trucks and see what we would do if...
This was my first time getting to see someone make it through the chutes, thanks for the show Jim.
I got some good pics of Trent. I thought I was getting g some good pics of Jim then realized my camera was dead. Oops.

Maybe it’s one of those places that bakes dog treats? I’m not going in to check.
It makes me chuckle every time I get in it. It is absurd in the best way.

I have a spring compressor if you need to borrow one Jim. Or just swing by my place sometime and we can knock them out in an hour.
