I live up near Black Hawk and we got about 8" or so. Yankee will be 10-15" I'm guessing, so that would be a "good time" if you're looking for snow wheeling. :)

somone on Instagram was like "Jeep's getting bipolar: they have ads about enjoying off-roading in the pure quiet, and now they're advertising off-roading with the roar of a v8!"

two things of note:
1. it doesn't get a RockTrac tcase...standard 2.72 gears in the case.
2. Rear locker works in 4-hi. something new for Jeep.
1 is a bummer to me, especially calling it a...
I knew it was a good move to extend my lease on my JKU!!

:lmao:
yeah this HAS to be it. no way those "mods" all cost that much even with install. no gears, no lockers, no custom suspension...100k rigs are not bolt-on unless it's a Mercedes G Box or a LR...
Yota owners drink some amazing coolaid. and I'm a yota owner!

my dad ate it pickled! made me want to barf.
now, lefse, on the other hand...that is amazing. a little butter and sprinkle some brown sugar on it and roll it up. mmmm. we still have that at...
anyone down for a day run in Moab? I have a weekend off and would like to hit a day of trails out there. I'm in a 4Runner on 35s, so I'd like something fun but not crazy. I've run PS, Kane Creek,...
thanks for the reply, Aaron. and yes, that is helpful. Gladiator or JL/JLU are gonna have the same main issues, really. seems like I'm seeing stuff for steering, leaky hardtops and rear glass (not my...
our lease on our 17 JKU is up at the end of November and we are pretty set on getting a Gladiator. We're going Monday to test drive a few and see what our options are with the lease. we have not had...
hard to beat IROKs for traction! and wear speed! :D

we just put these in 35" flavor on my wife's JKU. nice on the road so far, but haven't had them in the dirt yet. I feel like your review of them off road is what my impression of them will be just...
that's what I was thinking.
J.
perhaps! are you still thinking slow and low? or just see who all's in and decide from there?
J.
I was going to suggest the Kenati Trail Hogs, but I guess they don't come in a 15" rim...
J.
oooo...how many rigs you got going with you? I've been wanting to do this trail for years now. I finally got the 4Runner almost where I want it, minus sliders, for now. but I think it could handle...
those rear axle shafts look tiny!
*snap snap*

yeah, I can take off the front sway bar, which I might try, but I'm already pushing the CVs with a 3" Toytec Ultimate lift kit in the front.
J.
yeah, I was gonna say it is impressive, but not near the articulation of a Jeep. full flex is hard to achieve w/out the right circumstances & position, too. so it's hard to actually see it all.

I have to drop from this one. I had planned this with my kid going back to school in mind, but everything is homeschool now and there's no way for me to make it work with that being the case.
have...
sounds like fun!
J.
sending you a DM. :)
J.
any idea of the width? I may be interested...I ain't scared of ball joint D60s!
J.
dang it! I just saw this... :/
J.
oh wow! that's sucks!
Gerald, it was good to meet you. our group got really big, really fast, and they wanted to keep moving along so I'm sorry I couldn't chat longer. Glad you guys were able to...
