  1. Re: Red Elephant Hill, Mill Creek, Bill Moore Lake - 10/16

I can't make this one, it's a super fun trail though, I've done it 3 times this summer by myself. I'm taking the weekend off of wheeling to do some work on my truck, need to make progress on some...

Öhe said moments before reading about the broken Jeep on the trail in another thread.
  3. Re: Red Elephant Hill, Mill Creek, Bill Moore Lake - 10/16

I did it in my LR4 in the wet. Had to winch in one spot. Did it in my G Wagen on 35s no issues. Itís a trail that benefits from articulation or lockers but not one that beats your rig up.

Re: Ouray / Silverton / Telluride Oct 7-10

Easily some of the most amazing views I have had in my life. All the rigs did great, even mine which if I'm being honest I was slightly worried about due to having so little time on the latest...
  5. Re: Red Elephant Hill, Mill Creek, Bill Moore Lake 10/9?

I've done Red Elephant a couple of times in the past month, once 35s and once with 38s and portals to see the difference. Fun both times but with very different lines. There is some really nice...

Perfect. To eliminate confusion when we are on the trail together you can be spidey and I'll be speedy.

    Re: Mod For The Day

For my rear brake lines I ended up copying a technique I saw on Ty's J10, put a hardware store spring on it to pull it the direction I wanted without needing to clamp it down or change routing.

    Re: Hello Again......

You sound like a man that could benefit from some time in nature. Nice to meet you Shane, I'm Shane. Just built up my dream rig and getting ready to take it to Ouray next week so I have to say I'm...

    Re: 21 Gladiator "WebSlinger"

I think the name is obvious foreshadowing that the plan is to add red accents and web-shooters. Can't wait to see it all come together.

    Re: 2011 AMG G55 Build

Small update, I took James advice and removed the rear cover. I might try to do something with it someday but for now I wasn't feeling it. I also got my onboard compressor working well. It had...

    Re: The Campfire.

Also, I have a flaring tool that can do bubble flares if yours does not.

    Re: The Campfire.

Does your tool do a bubble flare or a double flare Jim? I think you can use an incomplete bubble flare (not stretched all the way) or just the first step of a double flare to get a sort of hose...

    Re: 2011 AMG G55 Build

I might, want to see if it proves useful first. Was thinking of maybe keeping my tow rope and a couple of shackles back there.

    Re: 2011 AMG G55 Build

Mounted my spare tire today. I still don't have my 5th Tibus wheel from GFG but got tired of having a spare tire only in the back taking up space so I had a tire shop mount the 5th tire on an old...

Re: Argentine McClellan 2 or 3 Oct

I wish I could go on this but I need to stick to my plans for wrenching Saturday and not let myself be tempted away by the trails like I always do. Take a few pics for me.

    Re: 1977 J10 Honcho "Magnum"

We didn't have access to a vice and needed to bend these u-bolts, I thought we are about to call it a day since we're stuck so why not take a quick walk around our trucks and see what we would do if...
