Re: So long, and thanks for all the trips

Speaking of the new group I roll with, the funny part will be that since Gerald is out that way as well and we will definitely be wheeling together the new group will have a bit of the old.

Re: So long, and thanks for all the trips

I'll just let it roll, figured I should leave the account up in case anyone in the future gets a kick out of my build thread.

I'm already seeing if I can do my first ex-fr4x4 run with Gerald...

You're welcome to swing by my place and I can give you a hand if you'd like. But probably not missing much if you keep an eye on your pressures.

Re: Chinaman Gulch - Sat May 28th

I am absolutely in for a road trip to run some trails with you Gerald.
  8. Re: Accidentally made first tracks on Miner's Gulch at midnight

It was definitely not too easy. I was sweating it a bit at a couple of points.
  9. Re: Accidentally made first tracks on Miner's Gulch at midnight

As soon as I stepped in this mud, both feet sand in and I fell over, luckily onto a dry rock. I had to do the thing where you slowly pull on your boots to break the suction, it wasn't that deep but...

  18. Accidentally made first tracks on Miner's Gulch at midnight

I got a call from offroadportal.org about a Jeep XJ stuck in the mud. I talked to the owner, he said he was just off a forest service road, no big deal, just ventured off in the mud and got stuck. ...

    Re: Rig is getting old

Super easy, lay your tire down under your bumper or sliders, put a high lift jack on the tire just outside of the valve stem, jack it up until you can reach the sensor and replace it.

  22. Re: Winch discussion - Smittybilt vs Warn, did I choose wisely?

The battery is hard wired on the Zeon Platinum remotes and the case is not made to be opened easily. You have to get inside and cut the wire to splice in a way to break the circuit. They really...

Re: Chris in Littleton driving a stock H3

People like to hate, but two groups of guys in side by sides helped me dig my G-Wagen out of a snow bank when I got it buried bad. There are friendly folk all over on these trails. They weren't even...

  25. Re: Winch discussion - Smittybilt vs Warn, did I choose wisely?
