Re: Wheeler lake solo Jeep run

Matt I'm on the second steering stabilizer on my JL as well. I didn't even notice that my first stabilizer was dented... the dealership just replaced it for free while my jeep had a warranty repair....

Re: Mosquito Pass, Lunch Leadville, Return Weston

I was up Mosquito pass 10 days ago via the west side since the east side was still blocked by snow drifts.

I won't be able to join on 8/13 but -- if you can -- I would highly recommend for you...
  6. Re: Devil's Canyon / Winching & Lifting hands-on (Sun July 31)

    Looking forward to it.

BTW, Madi and I will be in Breck 2/8-5/8 and will probably be offroading daily up in that ~30 mile radius if anyone wants to join. I don't have specific trails in mind,...

Re: Learning winching / hi-lift jack use

Exactly. Also, to bring back home some firewood. Or to remove that annoying branch that's scratching everyone's cars on the trail... Or to remove that large fallen tree that's lying on the trail...

Re: Learning winching / hi-lift jack use

I'm interested as well. I have a synthetic line winch, straps, shackles, and a snatch block (and a chain saw, if needed)

    Re: The Campfire.

At my house Jim we got >12 inch of heavy and wet snow. I shoveled part of my driveway and it was hard work. More than I expected for this storm... I think this should really help with the fires, at...

I ran Kelly Flats the same day! Had a great time. The mountain views are breathtaking this time of year. Love this trail.

  16. Re: Trail run this Saturday? Something up north. Perhaps Miller

Sorry, I just saw this thread. I think it was wise to not go to Miller Rock, I wouldn't want to drive it with any snow on the trail. I loved that trail but it has long narrow sections that, if you...

Re: Moab - Wheeling Nov. 24-26

Unfortunately I won't be able to go this time. Too close to Thanksgiving from a family point of view. Still want to go back to Moab sometime before high season next year.

Re: Moab - Wheeling Nov. 24-26

I'd like to go if I can pull it off. Last time I've missed the popular Fins and Hell's Revenge and I really want to do either or both. But all of the trails mentioned sound great.

Re: 3 Days of Moab (and more?) - Oct 10-12

Re: 3 Days of Moab (and more?) - Oct 10-12

I guess it depends on what everyone wants to do. For example I would be happy to join with people who want to follow the FunTreks book trail, hike the Joint Trail (we are slow hikers), and go to the...
