Miners Gulch climbs up from close to Apex and meets with Yankee but you can turn right around and head north on a beautiful narrow spur that meets up at the start of Kingston Peak trail/top of...
Something in the Gulches this summer would be fun! It’s a long haul for me since I’m up near Rocky Mt National Park but I’ll make the trek! I’ve made it twice (ran Hackett both times) and both...
I haven’t done Moon gulch from the start and it’s time! Moon gulch leads up to apex and then a bunch of other trail options open up. Miners gulch is a fun challenging trail nearby that would be fun...
Welcome Scott, I have a JLUR also and love it! Let’s get out on some trails!
Welcome, hope to see you participate in some of the groups activities! Like Jim said, feel free to throw ideas and event ideas out there on the trail planning forum to get folks interested in...
My main point was that I think the pictures along the top should be reflective of the current groups active members and group trips. Current could go back a couple years if needed but at some point...
I’ve seen tons of them! If you see a Rubicon with blue accents instead of red, that is the 4xe. I’ve seen them on the road for over a year now…..
I suggested updating the pictures and removing random pictures of non-4x4 stuff on the header. That doesn’t necessarily mean deleting them, the photos could still be archived for folks to look thru...
Unfortunately I’m not able to wheel this weekend, one of my dogs started limping and I need to watch and care for him this weekend instead.
I’m at the end of the trail on T33 right now, 😎 surprised I have service here 😎
I get it, but some folks can’t commit and are better with last minute plans so I’m always posting up short notice also just in case! I’m lucky because I live in the hills and have more flexibility...
I’m sorry your not feeling well lately Tom, get well!!!
Im just trying to stir the pot and get folks out in the hills, especially all these new members who come on board! I’ve been quite active...
only posted one last minute request, thanks for the input though 🤦🏽
I’m interested!! I’ve added my photos a few times but the main issue is all of the old and non-4x4 related photos. I’d be happy to go thru all of the albums and delete old and non applicable photos...
Shoot, just noticed I should have posted this under Forum News…. Sorry about that ;)
Jim and I talk offline on occasion so I can certainly discuss directly with him but I posted this to see if...
There’s a few things that I notice that I think should be updated. For one, the random pictures that run along the top of the page have so many old and non-4x4 pictures that I find really annoying. ...
No one took the last minute bait for this morning so….. anyone up for wheelin this weekend? Pickle Gulch, Mammoth gulch to Miners Gulch to Yankee hill, Miller rock, any others between Idaho Springs...
I was supposed to get thunderstorms and rain last night…. Not a drop fell. These meteorologists are just guessing 🤷🏽*♂️
Thinking Miller rock or T33 Airplane morning run tomorrow if anyone is up for a last minute gig
I bet only the highest peaks see any of this snow..... everywhere else will see thunderstorms, rain and clouds.
Lets go Jim, bring your chains ;)
Trip report from yesterday says it’s clear of snow and ice
I just find Pole hill boring, done it so many times …. Otherwise I’d join you Jim.
That’s impressive! But daunting
Who wants to go find out with me???? Lol
