  1. Re: Peru Creek, Cinnamon Gulch and Chihuahua Gulch

In case it looks like I was about to be brained by that jack, I was slightly off to the side :lmao:

I don't trust those things and mine is from harbor freight!

My (few) photos and videos. There...

Re: Eagle Rock - 10 October

We met a friendly couple in a built JK doing this trail and moving on to "Saranwrap," they filmed some of me and offered to send it to me. So far I've gotten 2 videos from them. The one of my Jeep...

Re: Eagle Rock - 10 October

Fun wheeling, it was nice to be back in the mountains.

Challenging trail for my stock height rig; mostly due to the large, loose rocks. Some how I got hung up on one and James helped me get back,...

    Re: Holy Cross (Fri 10/2)

Nicely done, the trail stories are always better when there is a successful trail repair. All the Jeeps on this run are some of my favorite rigs; I've been lucky enough to be on runs with each to see...
  5. Re: Wheels - recommendations please - Steel vs Aluminum

For what its worth I let my girlfriend drive the 2020 Jeep once and it slid sideways into a rock. It seems that the wheels took more out of the rock than the rock affected the wheels. I think the new...

    Re: Emissions not checking Emissions

Jealous! They swarmed my J10 like bees. If it were only 2 years older I could go pollute the earth in peace

    Re: The Full Send Adventure

As the other's have said it was an epic trip and truly unique experience. Also it felt like a rolling garage and gas station and recovery crew in one. All of our gear combined made me feel pretty...
  8. Re: The Full Send Adventure 4 - Beef Basin to Devil's Kitchen

Ty did not choose a line if I remember correctly. I just told Trent ok I'm gonna turn here and he walked me through the actual obstacle.

As for Devil's Kitchen #4, awesome campsite I can't deny....
  9. Re: The Full Send Adventure 7 - Gold Spike Spider

Thanks for the great write-up but I just have one correction to make based on the quote above: The ledges felt like maximum effort! The ol "gas it up while holding the brake" trick was required to...
  10. Re: The Full Send Adventure 5 - Devil's Kitchen to Moab

I just really loved the look of the Jeeps with all those badges. Like when combat aircraft have their kills painted on, so rad!
  11. Re: The Full Send Adventure 5 - Devil's Kitchen to Moab

Let me know when you go back, I didn't get my Fins and Things Badge of Honor! :(
  12. Re: The Full Send Adventure 5 - Devil's Kitchen to Moab

Here's a story from my perspective on Fins and Things: there was a group of recent model Tacomas, 4Runners and I think a Nissan that if I had to guess were pretty new to wheeling ahead of us on Fins...

    Re: Andy's WK

Yeah I hope to see it soon. I'd recommend trying it out on a trail first to see if you want to change the lift but its your Jeep and you know what works best for you. I'm glad its still going to be...

    Re: Andy's WK

The PS pump that was on there was pretty cheap, whined immediately. I think its about time the hoses for the PS system get replaced too. How was the performance on the trail run for the new rig?

    Re: Andy's WK

Yeah it looked like some of the later years in the same gen got rid of that removable air dam and just made it permanent. I'm not sure if it was a trim thing or a model year thing. I was just glad...

    Re: Andy's WK

By the way that air dam in the front pulls right off with 5 twist-locks or whatever they're called for some extra approach angle.

Trent, do you have one of those wrap-around steel racks that...

Poll: Re: Fabric Doors for Moab Trip

Thanks for the feedback! I was able to adjust the doors so they fit a bit better, I think I'm gonna go for it. I'll be bringing my "cold weather" pack anyway so worst that happens is I just need to...

Re: Buying new tires - recommedations please!

Well it's a JL Rubicon, its in 2wd on the road and then just has "true lockers." The only thing I'm not sure of is apparently it has a traction control system. I'm not too worried about that though.

    Re: Adopt-a-Trail Clean-up Run (Sat 9/19)

This is Andy's WK (pre lift!) at the gatekeeper for Barbour Forks, Sept 2018. It has also done Devil's Canyon so with the updates/upgrades that Andy has done it should be a great trail for it!

Re: Buying new tires - recommedations please!

Potential conversation hijack but mostly related, has anyone here done a 5-tire rotation schedule? Do you think I could get the dealer to do it for my JL? I might be too worn down already on the...

Poll: Re: Fabric Doors for Moab Trip

I can take the soft doors with me but the issue is storage of the factory doors once I'm there and wheeling. I was thinking the soft doors would be good for blocking highway wind (at least mostly)...
