a couple of us are heading down to the Gulches tomorrow, probably run Longwater or Metberry.

Looks like a couple buddies and I will hit up Pickle Gulch near Blackhawk tomorrow. Let me know if there is still interest and I'll post a time to meet. We haven't decided yet on what time works...

I wanted to do the New Years day run but turns out I cant make it that day. Would still like to get out this weekend on Sunday the 2nd.

that face is typically always dry, unless its raining of course, which rarely happens here, if you have a rear locker is should be no issue.
I love the Gulches, they are always passable in winter, not too high and open. Those who have not done will not be disappointed, some of the best scenic trails in CO. Hackett is the hard one while...
So are all the Gulch trails currently closed? I know about the pending litigation by Predator 4wd. I did see some trail reviews on AllTrails where they ran them last month?? Been out of the scene...

Thanks Matt and JP for a great day in the Hills. the Old yj suffered a bit of carnage, slid into a tree trying to back out of the snow. I think the tree will be ok.
