    Re: 58 Willys Wagon

The glove box does go all the way through to one under the passenger seat, but the floor does pinch up where the trans tunnel is...so it's really more like two separate compartments.
    As for the...

    Re: 58 Willys Wagon

A little mod....The seat bracket I made last year just wasn't quite working out in terms of the amount of ramp or tilt angle on the seat - it was just very flat bottom. Here is the bracket from last...

hey Jim....not sure if you are still looking and what price range you were thinking...but this could work if they are interested in wheeling. Or you can get rid of the body and shackle lift and run a...

    Re: Mod For The Day

Based on 'commentary' on the colo trip last week when I had to use my winch, it apparently was time to change out my fraying and kinky winch cable. I actually have had an almost new spare 5/16" cable...

In case you want to see lots of pics of the trip...the complete set....try not to fall asleep...Unfortunately without Jen riding along on Chinaman, I don't have many good pics - hopefully someone...
  11. Re: Please tell me what you know about Mount Antero!

I've driven quite a few times over the years. Jen was just up there on wed with the ecj5 group. No obstacles of note....just lots of bumpy road to the creek, then lots of shelf road and switchbacks....

    Re: Out and about Colo

Also, if you are in the halfmoon creek area (champion mill and mine), it's worth the side trip up 110.J to the iron mike mine. There is one chunky obstacle for sure...some built rigs coming down said...

  15. Re: 8/13 Mosquito Pass-Lunch Leadville-Return via Weston Pass

It's been raining a lot...so it was lots of pothole dodging. It started pouring hard with thunder etc, so went relatively fast which didn't help and no one wanted to stop in the rain to air down. It...
  16. Re: 8/13 Mosquito Pass-Lunch Leadville-Return via Weston Pass

Yes...we returned from wheeler/mosquito near alma/fairplay back to Leadville via Weston on Monday. You can skirt the construction on county Rd 5

    Re: Out and about Colo

Oh, and not doing much back road exploring yet in MT. We've done 3 day trips, but only one was in the jeep, the other 2 in the f150 as side trips when on another purpose. The truck is kind of fun to...

    Re: Out and about Colo

I think you'd be fine...but if it's wet (and it's been raining every day), you'll appreciate the extra 13inches of wheelbase, fully locked front and rear and larger 35s to get up the ledges.

  23. Re: Trails-Offroad incorrect trail description for Miller Rock
