You'll have a hard time finding an Unlimited Rubicon at that price point. You can get a nice Grand Cherokee in that range. I had a lot of fun with mine before we started on the Wrangler thing.

So, I really hate to do this, but I'm going to back out of my own run. It's not possible from a $$$ perspective to get the new Jeep where I want it for this and I'm not going to mess up this build. ...
Thanks Kurtis, but I solved the dana 30 issue last week.
Any idea what time you would be starting? I'm working a half day, but I start at 6am so it's over pretty early.
I sent my husband the picture of the wheelstand, thank you for posting it and for hanging off my bumper!
I noted it on my RSVP, but I'll put it here too. My big jeep became a littler jeep today and it's now blue. I won't have a radio for this run now either. I'll have to update my profile later.

Heck, my 2013 has 37k on it already.
Does anyone know if that exit is open at Idaho Springs? It wasn't the last time I was up there, but that was 6 weeks ago.
Thank you.
I saw Search & Rescue had two trucks and an ambulance looking thing on Rampart Road about 3pm. It was chilly then, can't imagine being up there with 3 kiddos late at night. Glad he made it down OK.
I've got $50-$100 each depending on condition. I'm trying to avoid making a decision on what to do with my front end a little while longer, so cheap replacement parts are my short term plan. I need...
Maybe. I have Friday off work with plans to service diffs and finish cleaning up Moab damage. If I'm done, I'm up.
Pinheads appear to be counties, the ones that are green have trails, the ones that are white have no trails on this map. Maybe the map creator uses them to organize the data?? The little diamond...
Click the trees, some have links and you should be able to google the other ones if you need more info.
Thanks Jay! Most of the videos I've seen have been TJs and even CJs so it's nice to see where the JKUs do well and where they get hung up. I got to meet Mel (red Evo rig) at Northridge on Saturday...
And as I recall there was a bypass way over on the right at the obstacle itself.
I think it bears repeating that IF YOU NEED A SPOTTER, YOU NEED TO ASK FOR ONE. I've lead a lot of groups and...
Jim got me thinking with his camping question and I really hate wheeling with my doors, so we will be staying at the Alps Motel in Leadville Wednesday & Thursday nights. The rate was good and the...
I'm pretty sure we'll go up the night before, might camp. Doors in the tent...... have to do some measuring the next time I have the tent up.
Running Holy Cross on Thursday, August 6th.
Meet at fuel in Minturn, 8:00am. Caravan from here to trail head leaving at 8:30am sharp.
I will PM my cell phone number to everyone who is signed up...
Well, we went over the on call schedule this weekend and our date looks like Thursday, August 6th. We will plan on driving up from Parker in the morning, running the trail and then overnighting...
We could do Monday or midweek if we had to. I have a fairly flexible schedule and the non-forum friend who will likely go is self employed.
This will be our last summer in Colorado and this trail is on my husband's bucket list. Probably take a Friday off work to do it with less traffic. Anyone else interested?
Next time Travis! Don did it on his birthday trip and said the down was worse than the up.
Don & I will be there, most likely as spectators only. I bent two control arms in Moab and the replacements may or may not be here by then.
Instead of sleeves, I have Artec trusses front and rear which also eliminates the "happy face" bent axle housing issue. You do have to be able to weld though.
