    In my buggy the battery is in the passenger side rear corner of the "cab," easily 6 feet of cable running to the starter, no problems.

    I use a CO2 tank and have a MV-50 and another inexpensive compressor for back up that I have not tried yet. I love how fast CO2 is.

    It is a road and yes it needs to be cleared and repaired to meet the standards. Another big part of the reason why it remains closed is the local residents want it that way.
