    Re: Second opinion wanted (FoCo)

@jim @newracer just wanted to touch base to see if either of you have some spare time. My schedule is now more open as well. Thanks!

    Re: The All-Electric F-150 Lightning

According to Car & Driver base un-optioned variant will likely start around 42k with a fully loaded platinum pushing 90k. So unless I'm mistaken, not terribly more expensive than an ICE variant.

    Re: The All-Electric F-150 Lightning

LOL I don't disagree at all. It's just in this instance the infrastructure costs are inherently so high that you would think it would be in everyone's interest to develop a standard. Spread the cost...

    Re: The All-Electric F-150 Lightning

This is really exciting. Especially since I just test-drove a '21 150 on Tuesday :lmao:

Range is my biggest concern in an all electric pickup; especially while towing. Beyond that I wish...
  6. Re: COVID: A little something to lighten your day.

I think you will find that to be the case more and more now that the CDC has put out guidelines (incentives to get vaccinated) for those who are vaccinated. At the end of the day we can't do anything...
  7. Re: COVID: A little something to lighten your day.

I wanted to chime in here. Full disclosure; I am fully vaccinated. Additionally I am pro COVID-19 vaccination (surprising I know :lmao:), and as such these comments/opinions will come across in a way...
  8. Re: FS (FoCo): Tuffy security enclosure, 4:10 gears, possible har

It's for a 4DR. Sorry I just realized I linked to the 2DR version instead of the 4DR. As such the link now directs to the correct enclosure. :P

    Re: Second opinion wanted (FoCo)

Yea I've had money earmarked for both for quite some time knowing it would have to be done at some point. Either way I'm wanting to make sure I don't need to address anything else (pitman arm/drag...

    Second opinion wanted (FoCo)

    Hey all,

Thinking I need to make some changes and replace some parts on my rubi. My best (semi-educated) guess is tie rod ends (my understanding is I'll have the replace the whole thing) along...
  11. Re: FS (FoCo): Tuffy security enclosure, 4:10 gears, possible har

Yea realistically I'm just wanting it to go to someone who'll use it. Used it for one summer then I got a dog. It's been sitting in storage now for 2+ years with no need for it in sight. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  12. FS (FoCo): Tuffy security enclosure, 4:10 gears, possible hardtop

    Hey all,

I have a couple things I'm looking to part ways with.

Tuffy standard security enclosure - Thinking $120 or best offer
    Factory 4:10 gears ('16 4DR Rubi) - Thinking $150 or best...

    Re: Gladiator- First Look

I'd like to see them offer a bedless version. Think their bed looks like and afterthough/tacky. Would be a great platform to build a box for and overlanding rig though!
  14. Re: Snow wheeling anyone? Bunce, Big John, Johnny/Pierson Park??

I want to, but if I go i'm going to stick closer to home base which keeps my list short :/

I hesitate to say that's some of the best kind of floating. Takes me back to my river days in KS.

Re: FS: Rubi wheels and tires

That they are, great tires but I think the KO2s I just got will serve me better overall for my uses. I could easily see this set getting 50-60k miles on them, granted that's one advantage of a 5 tire...

Re: Sat 11/10 or Sun 11/11

I might be able to do something Sunday. Saturday is dedicated to a full detail of the rig and install of my tire carrier. Want to get her waxed before winter really sets in.

    Re: Mod For The Day

Highly suggest the Fumoto valve and tube. Makes everything so much cleaner, and with the tranny skid no worries of it getting sheared off. Simple push hose on (I don't leave mine attached, worried...
