Hard to tell from the site pics, does this hitch allow twisting between tow(er) and tow(ee)?
What's the new position?
LOL, word association always works for me!
Hang in there. It's all worth it when you're finally standing inside, looking around when the reality hits that it's all yours!
Hey Adam, are you an ower, I mean owner yet? j/k Hope Christmas comes early for you!
Thanks for this post, Jeff. I bought the winch, got it home, opened it up and found a broken ground wire. I'll replace all 2ga. wire and will have the trailer winch I've been needing.
This is how the aux tank drains on my 4Runner. No moving parts, just gravity. You drive around with the fuel gauge pegged until the aux tank is empty.
KR? Gorgeous rig, man. Congrats!
This is what I've been looking at. Love that area! Up for a repeat?
and that bit about the backside branding, don't think for one second that's never happened...
Oh, the possibilities but too much for a starter rig.
The only option is to break up the big ACA lie and allow fair market practices. Wait 'til the Cadillac tax is imposed. You ain't seen nothing yet!
Yea, Chris. Good to see you and that '77 back!
Full hydro?
Teaching moment, here. After all, what good does it do to be mad at someone else when you're broke down on the trail?
Super clean set up, Moose. I never considered the possibility of conflicting wave frequencies, makes sense.
Thanks, Brian. Having to re-engineer from the seat of the pants keeps us in constant...
My vote as well, although you'll probably need a rear sump pan eventually. Neat project!
Its possible but I really don't think it was sucking hot air because when the hood is down, it closely resembles the original structure. I believe there just wasn't enough blade area to move enough...
And while we're on the subject of loose parts flying around inside there, I've found the screws for the seal housing loose and those press-on locking tabs for the carrier bolts had to go.
Overkill,...
You're gonna love the ARB. One thing I can offer is while you have it apart, check the spider gear shafts. Some older ones have double opposing spiral oil grooves that create a stress riser where the...
Curious to know where this is going. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is shocks. What I found on my Toyota (cross over steering, no track bar) was that worn shocks, reduced compression dampening...
Thanks Jeff, Adam. I don't think louvers would do much as there's lots of exit space on the sides. The wind that's pulled through the radiator is a vast improvement over the breeze it had before. I...
Been trying to figure out how best to increase airflow through the radiator in order to cure the overheating while running in low and slow. I kinda figured this would be an issue all along but...
