Just an FYI with camping season here:
These little guys "followed me home" about a week ago. Seem to travel well in a vehicle but can only walk short distances still.
Congrats James, you and Jen will surely enjoy the new digs and being away from all the crowds and traffic of this area.
Good to hear Trent.
Was just thinking that is where Trent and his family live. Hoping all is well with them.
How tall is your son and what is his threshold for speed? I have a CR250R but it is tall and very fast, might be too much too soon but he wouldn’t out grow it for a long time.
Edit: Also would...
i believe it is all but closed. You can go through the private property, then it is closed? Make sure to check the MVUM.
The gate you can see from 77 was open when I went by Friday evening.
Started a while back, luckily these were smaller and am only showing the "human" caused. Several more of not known or lightning origin, and these are just in the Pike/San Isabel NF. Clear Creek,...
Pike/San Isabel has more dedicated info, not sure the A/R link I gave will provide much. For reference, the PSICC fire page is https://psiccfireinfo.blogspot.com/p/notification-of-updates.html, and...
I didn’t see anything up that way, a coupe in the Pike NF. I get an RSS feed for that area which helps me keep an eye on things. You can sign up for alerts for the Arapaho’s/Roosevelt at...
Good for you Alison. Hope to run with you and the girls again this year. I guess Trent too. LOL
Welcome, I have a place in LPR so am in your area often.
I watched the smoke and saw the planes and helicopter from my deck. About 8 miles as the crow flies so not a big deal. We passed this area on our Lost Park road visit in February. I think the...

The New York Times and other outlets reported that he was previously known to the FBI. There was a chance for prevention that was not acted on apparently.
It looks to be the same one. Since it is in the Park County Sheriff substation parking lot in Bailey, it might belong to the search and rescue group rather than the FS? I didn't notice it when I...

Surprised Tom didn't put this shot in:
Unfortunately it normally warms up quickly and the snow runs off instead on soaking in this time of year. These storms are usually front range events and don’t impact the high country as much, which...
I have always liked the Yokohama for more on road with a bit of off road. The more aggressive Geolandar AT G015 is good for a truck, but you might want to look at the the Geolandar HT G056 for even...
Wanted to throw out some "thanks" to everyone for the help, particularly Aaron for the pad and impact wrench which helped to speed things up with the tire change and to Trent for letting me try out...
You don't have to play, it would make a nice conversation piece in the new home.
Not me. Got "home" 10 minutes after leaving Rock Creek Hills road, stoked the fire and had a beverage. Came back to town via 285 this morning and will head to the tire shop in the morning. If that...
