Includes Cobra 25 WX NW ST CB and mic. The WX Weather Band feature is nice.
This is the overhead console that attaches to the rollbar and the windshield frame....

Good call on tubeless. And I carry a spare tube even when running tubeless. On longer or remote rides, I'll carry a 2nd spare tube. Double flats can happen! (And it sucks to hike out. Don't ask me...
Six one, half dozen the other.
I will say, in that price range you can buy a very well spec'd used bike. Mountain bikes depreciate fairly quickly. Craigslist is a good source for MTB's.
Crap... where's my TJ parts laundry list?!
Well. That explains that. I know it's scenic, but you got to remember to look at the trail every now and then...
I've got a board too, don't ride it much... maybe once a season.
Lean forward, weight biased to your front foot. Let the mountain do the work. Ain't that bad once you figure out the...
RMSP+ holder here.
Love bumps, steeps, trees and anything not groomed.
Got brand new Icelantic Nomad RKR's with Look PX12's ready to go for this season!
I guided a stock JKU down it, just fine. This was my 4th time down it, 3rd time driving. The scariest part was one of the later switchbacks, as a rock has worked its way out and pushes you way...
NO. Roll started just to the left of the picture, coming down the rocky part in the lower left corner. It started with a flop on the trail and momentum carried him over. The passenger side glass...
Nope, it's about 50' below the trail. It's going to take some massive winching efforts to get it back up.
stock jeep, no cage.
it landed on the tires and they seemed to be still holding air.
Way, way, way, way, way.... worse.
We ran into them in Telluride for lunch. Everyone seemed to be doing fine (all things considered).
Crazy, just crazy.
Down.
Trail was already slated to be closed tomorrow and Thursday for maintenance (there's a rock on the tightest switchback that makes things scary)... and I'm guessing they're going to to a JKUR...
Nothing to see on the passenger side... we weren't gonna day anything on the trail, but no one can figure out how he got that far left. The flop started by the drivers side wheel walking up the rocky...
Just some glass cuts and a sore head... But everyone knew who they were and where they were from. The passenger said the windshield frame pressed in and hit his head during the roll.
they were one...
I was the jeep behind them as we were descending... We stopped at the stairs to give them room, so I didn't see it roll, but I came up on it after it had just settled.
i helped the driver and...
This was right after the water crossing, before the tightest switch backs. There is a rocky staircase descent that is a bit "blind" as all you see is your hood and not the trail. His left tire walked...
It was the Jeep in front of me.
Really nice guy. Don't think that JKUR had 10k miles on it yet.
Went too far left, flopped right, momentum carried him over the edge.
Driver and...
BTW: out here, volume is your friend. I'm running 2.3/2.2's FR/rr on my XC bike and 2.4/2.35 on my AM bike.
I'm 185-190# out of the shower and run 32-35psi tubed and 28-30psi tubeless for my rear tires. Any less and I pinch flat/ding my rims. I must be hard on rear wheels or really heavy riding... As I...
I get married this weekend and next weekend we'll be in Costa Rica. Anybody that can look at it this week on your behalf? Otherwise, we'll be back the weekend of 6/21-6/22
Hmmm... no one interested in removing some sway from their WJ?
