Re: Mt Evans Road Closed for Year

You bet your ass I am hiking up there again this year.

We went camping by lake lincoln one year just below the road, it was actually very nice. We saw no one except on the road.

    Re: Weekend thoughts...?

A friend of mine recently tried going up rollins pass and found a local with a road block setup allegedly brandishing a firearm.

So... Keep those plans flexible for now.

Re: Thunderbird flyover around 13:00 today

I was outside messing with the Jeep when they circled Longmont United, that was neat to see. I haven't seen jets flying that low in a while.

Re: Got around 3 feet of snow yesterday

I was wondering what it was like up there for you all. I had 13" in my front yard.

Man that is wild having to winch up your own drive.

FS: (1) 255/75/R17 BFG KM - zero miles

I have a single tire from my JK Rubicon with zero miles. Other than sitting in the sun, there is no wear at all.

I let the dealer do my rotations and they did it the lazy way, then over torqued a...
  11. Re: Anyone had issues getting 12.50s mounted to stock wheels?

I am using spacers for now. Not ideal for offroad, but they are from a reputable company. I also installed a 2" spring lift not too long ago.

In the future I'm looking at these, because they are...
  12. Re: Anyone had issues getting 12.50s mounted to stock wheels?

That is what I was hoping. I usually got to little independent shops anyway.

Now I just have to wait until the cold snap passes so I don't Crack my soft top windows.

    Should be fun stuffing the...

I have been so out of the loop I didn't even realize this was a thing.

    Congrats Paul!
  14. Anyone had issues getting 12.50s mounted to stock wheels?

Seems like a lot of people mount wide tires on fairly narrow wheels.

I think my wheels are 7.5" wide, I have a full set of 33's that I was going to mount on wider wheels, then mount all season...
  15. Re: COVID: A little something to lighten your day.

Eh, for what it's worth, I travelled to Canada through DIA just before mid march (for work). Came back and isolated, not only in my home, but in the guest room away from my SO out of a degree of...

Indeed, they aren't targeting rational spending people.

For the money I would rather have a buggy, a truck, a trailer, and a nice outbuilding to store it in.

    Re: Sun 28th msv/conney

I took my niece there on Thursday. That big hill in the middle of Coney before the lake was pretty chewed up with a good size loose boulder in the middle of it, but I made it through on 32s. It...

My niece and sister will be in town, I'll have to ask if they are interested. Extra hands would be nice.

Welcome to Colorado, first things first, help clean it up.

I might be able to make it, our foster got adopted and it's just Bruce and I.

Never done Devil's Canyon, so I'd be in for that one. I'll RSVP.

    Re: False Kiva Closed

What a shame. There need to be much stronger penalties for things like this, and rewards offered for reporting.

  23. Re: Disperced camping in bear country with foods that need to be

  24. Re: It's 2018 - How do you feel about drones now?

Paul, lol. You went real deep there.

  25. Re: It's 2018 - How do you feel about drones now?

I see why you'd say that, but that is actually fascinating to me to hear your perspective and experience. Thank you for weighing in.

Can I ask you about how you draw the line between being in...
