Re: Black Bear: Red Jeep Tumble - Manual with Parking Brake

    This ^^^^

Mine (2007) goes out of adjustment very fast, always has. Some say it is due to a spring on the lever and have added a nut and bolt to take up the slack, I may try it.

    Re: Looks like seasons over

You can go up to Laramie and then down to Walden, it can actually be faster that way.

    Re: Everythings on fire!

In the Fort Collins/Loveland area Kelly Flat has burned on the west end, not too far. Pole Hill, Johnny Park have not burned. Everything else has completely burned.
  8. All of Canyon Lakes Ranger District will be closed due to fire.

The FS contacted me this morning, due to the current fire conditions they will be closing the entire Canyon Lakes Ranger District until further notice.
  9. Re: What I hate about Moab.... and I'm not alone

    What about buggies?

You would have to go further in detail and break it down to specific trails. That way each user group has trails available everyday. Also I think bicycles already have their...

Re: Flatfenders take on Carnage Canyon

It is pretty amazing what they can get those Jeeps through. Equally amazing is how durable they are, they bash on the rocks constantly, using the bumpers, leaf springs, and diffs as sliders. Being...

Re: East of Salt Lake City

Tibble Fork over to Midway. We thought about running Shaffer Fork to Forest Lake but the first section has some big rocks and we didn't want to chance damage without some sliders.

    East of Salt Lake City

Went and saw my son in UT this past weekend. Did some light wheeling east of SLC in his new Tacoma, found a few harder roads to go check out once he gets some sliders. The fall colors were in full...

  22. Re: Help finding a Wrangler to tow behind an RV

Many people say to stay away from the JKs with the 3.8L motor, '07-11 due to lack of power. Personally I have not had any issues but I have a Rubi with 4.10 gears. There was a year or two that had...

Poll: Re: Fabric Doors for Moab Trip

Can you take the soft doors with you and use them there?

Kind of off topic but I'll love to have a set of the Bestop Core Doors as they give every option.

Re: Ouray area trails Sept 6

Looks like you had a great day. Your reaction to Black Bear is typical, it is only mentally hard and really not even that unless shelf roads scare you. Thanks for sharing.
