  1. Re: FYI: Pennsylvania Gulch is blocked by a Jeep

Looking at the situation I think they were struggling with the hardest part of the trail, it has an angled slick tree root on the right hand side and I was guessing they took a couple of tries at it...
  2. Re: FYI: Pennsylvania Gulch is blocked by a Jeep

I'm guessing they left it hooked up to keep it from sliding back down the hill but who knows really.
  3. Re: FYI: Pennsylvania Gulch is blocked by a Jeep

Yep, left the winch line wrapped around a tree.

    Re: 2011 AMG G55 Build

Yeah, exhaust exits right in front of the rear wheels. I'll likely just take a sawzall to them and cut them so they just dump out underneath once I figure out sliders.

    Re: 2011 AMG G55 Build

I've made this section a couple of times in my Disco, failed it a couple of times too. Even when I made it there was much struggle and scraping. The G walked right up it so that was fun.

But other than the Jeep in the way, Pennsylvania is in good shape. A little bit of snow up top, nothing too serious though.
  7. Re: FYI: Pennsylvania Gulch is blocked by a Jeep

And maybe they weren't up for pulling that winch line in 10' to unblock the trail?

  9. FYI: Pennsylvania Gulch is blocked by a Jeep

Just a heads up in case anyone was thinking of hitting Pennsylvania Gulch. I took the scenic route home from Boulder, went up flagstaff, then, can't remember, maybe it's CR 68, the one that pops out...

    Re: 2011 AMG G55 Build

Found 4 18” wheels on Craigslist for $300. I wish there were a 5th but hard to argue with the price for Merc wheels.
