Yea the badges from Jeep are a little 'cheap' auto-zone-ish even. I'm still trying to decide if I even want to put them on the Heep because of it.

I’ll be honest I don’t like putting things on my rig (ie stickers badges
and the like. I think rigs look nicer without them. But if someone has thier
rig all done up with what ever I just gotta smile because that’s what is great
about the whole 4x4 thing, it’s individual and unique and fun!!!!!

Afternoon around 4? On the steep part of the dirt road before rampart range. Mabey that was not you but coulda swore it was.

Would have to agree. All my stickers go on the toolbox.
I'm interested for sure! I'll be able to commit about 2 weeks out, and will be camping. Thanks to everyone for putting this one together.
Gobbler can attest to my capabilities. We ran the gulches last season. :)

Tom just posted the opening date for Black Bear is 28 June.
Yeah, for me just one trail run (probably Empire Loop on the 14th of July) and then the next will be Ouray trip! I am so stoked!!!! Make sure you all pack some swim wear! (For Sunday) I hear they completly refurbished the pool in Ouray. It was nice 3 years ago, can't imagine it now.
I thought this was pretty cool.

#1 small town to visit in USA is Telluride!
We need to nail down some GPS meeting points so we can get a planned trail run thread posted.
Yeah meet gps points for each morning and discuss trail time and time we want to spend in certain towns. You will like Ouray as well it will be nice that your staying there and can take time to walk mainstreet, the shops and resturants. I think on Sunday we could just make the meet point at the trail head of Imogene pass as we will be camping somewhere along Yankee boy basin or Govenor basin. We can decide who wants to do Black Bear or Imogene pass into Telluriade spending time there and returning back via Imogene pass.
This trip hs been in the making for 3 years since we took a family trip there mid July of 2015 while the Fj summit was going on. I am so ready for this trip!!!

Now I have a list of towns I want to visit! They all sound pretty good to me.
JandD,
I'm interested in the Empire Loop Saturday. Will you be starting at Red Elephant Hill?

Mark and I were planning a very early start so wasn't going to post it as a run P.M. sent
I need to go back and take a look at this whole thread. I'd love to make at least part of this. I'd be camping, at this point I don't think that's optional anyway.
It would be great to have you along. I will be camping in my rig along the trails.
Here is the itinerary for this trip to Ouray, so that if anyone can make it for all or part of the trip you will know where we will meet each day.
