Laclede Chain offers chain width and length specs with their chain kits. That might be an easy way to see how close these measure / compare to your tires.

I looked at TireChain.com and they want ~$15 for the cam tool - more than I'd think. My frugal option would be to visit the local pawn shop's misc tools bench and buy a larger hex tool and grind the working end flat to fit into the cam slot. The hex tool will be hardened steel vs mild steel that bends.
