JScan OBD2 Scanner/Reader App
I just tried the JScan app on my iPhone coupled with an iCar Pro OBD2 Bluetooth interface and it worked really well for my 2014 Jeep GC. The app was $21 for one vehicle and the iCar unit was $32.
In addition to standard trouble codes, it can read codes from all the modules in the car including the transmission, locking differential, etc. It also allows modifying a number of settings such as wheel size for the speedometer and the TPMS threshold among others. This last is what I need to do seasonally when I switch tires, and it could also be done for aired down pressures.
Note, not every interface module will work with the advanced features set of JScan so look at their website before purchasing one. Also there are a lot of cheap knockoffs that don’t work so make sure you get the genuine article, whichever one you buy.
I also got a free app for use with our Subaru that isn’t as capable but can see many trouble codes.

I have been using it since it came out. Good tool.
Re: JScan OBD2 Scanner/Reader App
What have you used it for?
I found the only things I really needed to change were the TPMS threshold and the ECO mode button operation. Now the ECO selection is remembered through a shutdown instead of always going back to ON. I was somewhat disappointed that the TPMS can be adjusted only in increments of 5 PSI which is a pretty big step when the tires take 35, and reduces the usefulness of the adjustment. I may contact the developer and request 1psi increments.
Most of the other adjustments I didn’t need or or were too scary to play with casually. There’s no “factory reset” to restore everything if it gets screwed up!

Tire diameter, and tpms. I don’t recall the 5 lb increments. Mine is set at 33psi. Did daytime running lights as well.

I also have the app to use on my '07 JKUR. In addition to checking and clearing codes, I have set the tire size, turned off the lane change blinker, disabled the electronic sway bar, and used it to engage lockers in 4 high.

woah, I didn't know you could do the locker mod with that! so basically you don't need a $150 Flashpacs tool any more, huh?
J.
Re: JScan OBD2 Scanner/Reader App
The locker in high range is the main reason why I bought it.

Exactly.
Re: JScan OBD2 Scanner/Reader App
My OBD tool can tell me my rpm and battery voltage and not much more. Jeeps sure have some nice aftermarket support.
