Just had my steering upgraded and Coney Flats seems like a fun place to test it out. Anyone want to go Wednesday morning 9/1?

Wish I could! I was up there on a wed recently and had it to myself. Have fun!
Not up for msv-coney as the last two times I have run it I was left with damage to my rig. Could do something else if you are mainly looking for a backup on the trail.
IMO it has gotten much more challenging the last couple of years what with the atvers on it.
Wheeling on week days is pretty quite.
Wish I could! I was up there on a wed recently and had it to myself. Have fun!
I'm open, what do you have in mind?
Not up for msv-coney as the last two times I have run it I was left with damage to my rig. Could do something else if you are mainly looking for a backup on the trail.

N end of Switzerland and Pennsylvania Gulch, Miller Rock, or
West Magnolia and Jenny creek
Miller rock sounds fun. What time do you want to meet at the Raymond store?
N end of Switzerland and Pennsylvania Gulch, Miller Rock, or

Jenny creek also sounds good.
N end of Switzerland and Pennsylvania Gulch, Miller Rock, or

Jenny sounds great to me. Could meet at the Rollins Pass turn off just before the Moffat Tunnel and air down.
I may have to take my grandkids to school Weds am so wouldn’t be able to leave Longmont until about 8:30 am. Google Maps says its 1 hr 20 min drive right now, so I would guess more like 1 1/2 hours on a weekday morn.
So meet there at 10am?
I am taking them in the morning so will ask about Weds and update as soon as I get home.
Rollins pass turn off sounds good to me. I’ll wait for your update to establish a meeting time .
Jenny sounds great to me. Could meet at the Rollins Pass turn off just before the Moffat Tunnel and air down.

Gretchen, beautiful scene on the avatar! Whereizzat?
Thanks, Adams Lake up on the Flat Tops North of Glenwood Springs. I like to take the Transfer Trail to get up there. It’s pretty long but it’s nice and peaceful.
Gretchen, beautiful scene on the avatar! Whereizzat?
Thanks!
The campsite at the southern end? So far, my favorite campsite (Adams Lake).
I went there, twice, via Coffee Pot Road / from the east though I did drive up and to the overlook at the west side of the lake. I hope to get there this season - but it might not happen.
Yes, the Southern end. I've never done Coffee Pot Rd., for some reason I have visions of extremely corrugated road from two wheel drive trucks hauling trailers. I would camp up at Adams lake again this season but it would have to be in the middle of the week when no one is there.
Thanks!

I have been requested to take the grand kids to school in the morning. That puts the meetup at 10am
