Hey fellas, appreciate ya'll letting me join the group. I'm a recent graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, two four wheel rigs the first is a 1976 ford f-250, and the second is my 2008 FJ Cruiser. On two wheels I rock a 2002 Gas Gas trials bike. I frequent the Rollinsville area and some trails up around Fairplay. Neither of my rigs is a real crawler or anything mostly stock, but I love the trails and I love mods. Appreciate any help I will receive and I will be certain to offer up any assistance when I can!

Hey! Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you have a couple of sweet rides there, too.

A few of my climbing buddies are SOM graduates, but they graduated a bit before you did. Hard damn school and kudos for graduating! My new next door neighbors teach there, Juan and Pamela Madeni, and are thinking of buying a sweet Land Rover MkIII lwb.

Good folks here, your questions will get answered to the best of people's ability with little or no BS (ignore WINKY unless he is serious..)

Hope to see you on a run soon!

Welcome. You don't need a lot of mods on an FJC to run a lot of trails in Colorado. A good set of tires will get you through on most trails. And it you got it with a locker and rails, you're in good shape. And that truck is carrying some serious metal up front. Damn.

What? You are now seeing FJC visions? Your regular day to day ones are almost more than the rest of us can handle....

Welcome to FR4x4 man. I live in Golden now. And my roommate goes to the School of Mines. Got his bachelors in physics last year, and is graduating with his masters in mechanical engineering in Jan. He is crazy smart.

You would think someone with a Super Mod title would know about that litte function, of course he missed Westminster in the title, so it could be that old age and sight thing!:lol:

Thanks for all the welcomes! I am off of 136th and I-25 roughly. No trails for me this weekend though, was out house hunting...

The FJ does have the locker, I put the ARB bumper and PIAA lights on it, but yes it could definitely use a nice set of swampers. Have my sights set on some TSL's, that is what is currently on my ford and definitely gets the job done! The ford is a 1976 F-250 with a 390, NP 435 tranny and NP 205 t-case. Running 4.11 gears with a detroit locker out back. Some mild performance upgrades to the motor consisting of an rv cam, 4 bbl carb/intake and milled heads. She breathes through 2.25 duals with glass packs. Recently put fresh stock springs on it so that I can fit some 36's on her when these tiny 32's wear out.

Hey I'm always looking for parts! Body panels are most desirable, and some visors...Tried to pm you but wouldn't go through. Let me know what you've got!

Mine is a 1976, however the bed is off of a late 80's diesel haha.
