So I just got back from Discount Tire rollin on some new BFGoodrich 31x10.5x15's.

Gotta say, they don't ride much different than the Michelin's on the road, but i'm just waiting for some snow to check out the traction :D

Definitely riding a lot higher than im used to....I actually have to put effort into getting up to the cockpit ;)

Also, sorry for the poor quality pics, I was using a strange mode on the camera for low light + flash.

BFG AT's are great tires...i've had two sets and haven't been disappointed.

Why didn't you go 33's? I have a friend with a Land Cruiser, same lift, and he is running 33x10.50's. Looks great with the 33's

I originally wanted 33's

A couple reasons why I stuck with 31's:
1. 33's are special order tires, so if I had a problem and needed tires fast, I'd be SOL
2. My dad made the 1st point to me and said that if I was willing to compromise and get 31's, he'd buy the tires for me

So hey....I got 3" taller by 2" wider tires at no cost to me.

Reason enough in my book! Looks good with the 31s!

31's are good (33's aren't special order at Big O) but I would have made the same choice myself. Damn, nobody buys me anything!

Next up?

Next up is armor. Probably sliders first, then rear bumper, then front.

Fix the galley plug first ;)

Doing the other stuff is great but won't do you much good if the galley plug blows.

Luckily I had realized that I was leaking oil at the gas station (bout half a mile away) and got back home before I leaked all the oil.

33's aren't special order at Discount either...thats where I got mine. Installed, 50k mile warranty, free rotation, exc for 650 bucks.

But those 31's look good too. Plus you wont have to worry as much about power loss.
