Good to hear, you seemed worried before. Now that you have done it do you feel more confident?

Chris,

Thanks for the phtos and thanks to everyone else for a great day and very fun run. Sorry that I rolled past everyone at the end when you stopped to air down. It turned out to be a longer day than planned and I still needed to get loaded on the trailer and back to Franktown.

I'm really looking forward to the next run!

Had an awesome time. Even though I had some no start problems when airing down.

So I got to work on that today, replaced the connectors on my battery cables, cleaned my battery posts and cables. seems to be okay now?

also adjusted my carb fuel mixture, adjusted timing, idle, and adjusted my fuel pressure regulator, so its much better now. cant wait to try it out now :D

anyways, heres a few pics I took. hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

Unfortunately most of the pictures i took were early in the day, and they were towards the sun... sorry!

Had a great time at Wheeler! I would do that trail again for sure, except that first obstacle (for now anyway).. got a little too tippy for my taste. I apologize for kicking up so many big rocks on Bowling Ball hill, I was bouncing around and was having a hard time keeping traction. That truck drives itself sometimes, but as always, it was a blast.

Thanks Roland! It's been great so far, it just needs a locker of some kind in the rear and it'll go anywhere.

Yeah, I didn't and had the displeasure of watching my truck roll into Happy's. :(

this is the main reason why im not on any trails the rest of the year, my ebrake just doesnt stop my rig. and i dont want to take the risk of it rolling somewhere and or hurting someone or another vehicle. egr disk brake conversion will happen next year round feb/march:thunb:

Thanks for all of the great pictures! I am really glad that everyone had a great time! Wheeler is a sweet trail...

Weather was certainly better than I expected to see as well as the lack of any real snow.

I was very happy the trail was mostly dry.. it would have been so much harder with snow.

Hey

Rob(DrUnit) is going to have Sean and me do a OME lift on his FJ 40. He has some questions on whether or not he should do the shackle reversal. Since we had two 40s on this run, one with and one without, would you guys mind either PMing him or simply post your thoughts here:

Thanks from me and Rob!

Great pictures.....Wheeler is on my list of trails to do. I have in-laws coming to town Tuesday so I could not get away and play this weekend.

Randy, good to see the mule back on the trail, as always.

We had a great time as well, couldn't have asked for better weather.
Not sure that I have many pictures, I'll have to check and see what my wife ended up with.

I swear by it, makes the rig ride much smoother, climb better and gets rid of a rock finder up front.

I'd like to see more pics, too. I really love this trail, it is so transitional from some good obstacles to a long valley run to a climb up to a high alpine lake.

And when you are done, some grub and a brew in Breck. Rough life

Your wish is granted.....

Finally got off my arse and got my pics downloaded and doctored....
