Looking for a place in the North Metro/Brighton area that has a greater selection of steel than my local hardware store. Preferably a place that carries anything from DOM and HREW tube, plate up to .25 inch, and has a scrap/remnant pile to pick through.

Thanks,
Mark

I know this doesn't help you but for those of us in the springs i strongly recommend glasser off 24. small family business with good prices.

Brody likes them and has been dealing with them forever. I'll toss out Hinton Steel where Jim (Solid Rock Off-Road) works.

I don't want to take away from Brody's guy but when in a bind, these guys have ALWAYS come through for me. Den-Col (http://www.dencol.com/)

Thanks for the replies. Den-Col looks like it's the closest to me so I think I'll check them out first. Might also check out Altitude if I happen to be down that way.

I have used Den-Col for quite awhile myself and they have always had whatever I've needed, but also going to try out Brody's guy @ Altitude.

When I have a project coming up, I always check out the recycle center about a mile from my house here in Frisco. They basically have a 30yd dumpster that anyone and everyone can dump thier steel (and whatever else) into. I've gotten a lot of really good steel there. Most of it comes in 2-3 ft chunks so nothing reallly if you're looking to build a bumper, but the price is right. Actually... I guess I did pick up some front end loader bucket wear plates about 6' long 3/4" x ~7". Oh yeah and a couple 2x2x3/16" angle 6' long. Everything I pick up is fairly new, not much rust. Too rusty, I'll leave it for the recycler.
