Did the silver just present too much bling?

You're confusing me with Brody, the chrome presented too much rust.

Looks really good Chris. I love the blacked out look with rims for sure. If I didn't want to get narrower rims, I would definitely think about doing that to mine too.

Looks awesome!! That was the first thing I did after I bought my Hummer, was paint the wheels a Matte Black. And like you said, touch ups from here on out will be easy.

Yup...that Brody dude is BIG on Bling! I have two chrome door handles and 16 chrome lug nuts and some cool aluminum dash knobs..oh yeah...I almost forgot...there is something shiny on my CO2 tank somewhere...

I like black...in fact, I'll probably lose the chrome lug nuts next time I rotate my tires. They are simply too hard to polish...

looks a lot better! I only have chrome lug nuts and no center caps cause the black paint didn't stick too long. Next will be to blackout the emblems.

Chris

My lug nut are black now because I was too lazy to pull the wheels to paint.

Sounds like a good plan like I would do if I had to paint my wheels.

Brody

Did that on the 84...maybe do that on my heap, too. What the heck, its 4x and I didn't even mask the tires on the 84...black on black....

looks great Chris! Thank you for reminding me I have some gray showing on my wheels. Can you paint lug nuts or is that a bad idea?

Chris

I painted them, figure they'll get pretty ugly on removal but that's not a concern of mine.

looks good chris. i have painted my wheels flat black as well.

Brody

You can paint the lug nuts, Pathrat, but they'll jsut get all scratched up the first time you take them off. If they are the same color as the wheels, no big deal..just hose 'em down. If they are different, it won't be worth the effort...

Does this work for hair?? I noticed the other day that I had some 'gray showing' and got a little concerned....

Pete I did notice a couple of them the last time I was over but didn't want to upset you about them popping up here recently.:D

Just do what I do... shave your head. :p

Chris

Yep, if I wanted to get rid of the gray I'd have to shave my whole head.

Brody

God...if I shaved my head, I would look like Frankenstien, I have so many scars, dents and ongoing bashes on it...I still have the dent from a police baton..courtesy Mardi Gras 1969...plus the back of my head is flat instead of curved...No way for the shave....I have a very ugly head! The front is passable, but the rest is a write off...

I have a few friends, Tye being one of them, Bren being another, who can shave their heads and it looks good cause their heads look normal...nothing else about them looks normal, but that's just the way the ball bounces...HEHEHE

Hey, go easy on Ronco! Everyone needs a Popeil Pocket Fisherman!

Pathrat

 Yeah, and Ron Popeil has more money than all of us combined via spray hair, the chopper/welder combo or whatever it was, and the pocket fisherman!
