Conditions were good, no snow, little mud. Probably a lot of snow up there now.

it was a great trail, Moab Hill was the toughest line i have taken in the stock FJ, it sealled the deal for me that I am getting a 3" lift and 34" tires... Will share pics when I get that going :)

I see you might be going to go with the same lift I went with; are you using the coilovers that go with the Bilsteins? What are you doing for the rear?

Oh wow, ok, the whole package! I have the same lift in the front, my rear coils are their custom "stock ride" coils paired with the extended Pro-comp shocks. I did not get the sway bar relocates or the front diff drop kit. I have noticed a few more noises coming from the drive shaft and the thing does stay extended more than stock. Other than that, I don't think I have caused any issues with my geometry. I kept the front lift at about 3" so I didn't have to start fooling with moving other parts.
Have you heard of people having issues when they went with this front lift kit when they didn't drop the diff?

have you dropped the front diff? the kit i got comes with one, it sounds like it drops the diff between .5" and 1" and makes a big difference on the CV joint angles, sounds like a good thing to do. see this thread for more details

Nope, I didn't drop it. Next time I see Brody I had planned on showing him how the drive shaft sits and extends, and get a live person eyeball evaluation. I would guess that sure, it would be a good idea to drop it and keep your components closer to how they were originally lined up, less stress, etc. I just didn't do it when we installed the lift.
