Never done Red Cone...what is with the corrogated sections? Never seen that before....

Supposed to be a cool trail...just never seem to have gotten up to do it..or started up it either too early or too late in the season.

From what I understand that was for 2 reasons.. water run off and to deter folks from driving up it.

and scarier going down because its steep enough and with the loose shale it makes your rig feel like its gonna do a foward endo threw the corragated section. if you put your feet on the floor board you are almost standing straight up going down the hill:thunb:

When I went it wasn't bad at all... most of that was smooth

i see that path right down middle it definately looks smoother than our trip, our trip they were very noticable. but still a fun trail in any condition

When were those pics from? That downhill slope has changed a lot. Now I see why people were pooping their pants over Red Cone.

I was thinking they were from long ago. Red Cone had some work done on that section in 2004 to make it safer. Thanks for posting up the pics!!!

It usually doesn't open up until the middle/end of July. Red Cone + Radical Hill is a great combo.

Red Cone hill kind of looks like a giant trilobite fossil in this picture.

Yes SCRubicon, astute observation. It looks scary that way, like the passage down some ancient trilobite graveyard where you tempt the Paleozoic gods...
We want to do that trail too.

Hey Arsell! Where have you been? Did you ever get all the Rover parts switched around? Are you driving the white Rover now?

What's up? Are you doing OK??

Thanks for the video!
