McAfee
Norton
Windows One Care


None of them were better then the other...

Buy a Mac, its built-n firewall takes care of everything.

My next machine will likely be a Mac. In the meantime, but Norton expired today. I got Norton for $15 for 3 subscriptions locally. Figured I can't beat that for the meantime.

Hey Jeff

For a basic great and free anti virus that beats most of the other expensive ones, try AVG.

Google 'grisoft' and do the free download of the anti virus program. I have been using that program on my PC for the last 6 years and so have most of the folks I know. It is great and they update stuff every chance they get...almost daily...

I use webroot on one of my windows machines and norton on the other. both have worked just fine. my other machines are apple, solaris and linux and dont seem to have this issue ;-)
